titleOfInvention Method and device for separating and collecting particles from fluid for medical diagnosis
abstract PURPOSE: To improve the economical efficiency and reliability of a method and device for separating and collecting particles from a fluid by sucking the fluid through an absorptive material so that the particles in the fluid can adhere to the surface of the material. CONSTITUTION: A device 1 is composed of a filter container 2 and a sealable container 3. The container 2 is formed in a tubular shape having an upper opening 4 and a lower opening 5. The opening 5 is covered with a cell supporting element 10 composed, for example, of tight acetate. In the container 2, a filter section 11 and a suction insert 12 are arranged in series from the bottom to the top. When this device 1 is used, the particles contained in a fluid can be made to adhere to the surface of the absorptive material by sucking the fluid through the material. Therefore, highly reliable separation of the particles from the fluid can be realized with an inexpensive device having a simple structure.
