titleOfInvention Fluorinated hydrocarbon based azeotropic and pseudoazeotropic composition
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the incombustible title composition consisting of 1,1,2- trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane and two other kinds of compounds, having azeotropic composition, capable of reducing an amount of fluorocarbon used and suitable as a substitute fluorocarbon and cleaning solvent. n CONSTITUTION: The aimed composition consisting of 67wt.% 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2- trifluoroethane (R113), 17wt.% 1-chloropropane and either one compound of cis-1,2-dichloroethylene, chlorobromomethane, 3-methylpentane, 2-bromopropane and tert. butyl chloride which is different in the ratio according to the above- mentioned substance used and used at a ratio of 16wt.% in a case of cis-1,2- dichloroethylene. The composition can be used as heat medium, foaming agent, etc., as same as conventional fluorocarbon and especially when the composition is used as cleaning solvent, it is useful as a substitute for fluorocarbon, because the composition has cleaning power higher than that of a conventional single R113 and especially suitable as cleaning agent for IC parts, etc., water removing agent, etc. Furthermore, the composition has less change of composition in recycle. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
