titleOfInvention | Runaway detection circuit |
abstract | PURPOSE: To detect malfunction and runaway of a pushbutton signal/multi- frequency signal receiver by providing a signal presence identification detection circuit, a signal absence identification detection circuit and an OR circuit sending the OR of outputs of the identification detection circuits. n CONSTITUTION: A counter transmission circuit 11 receives a bus control signal sent from an interface circuit to a receiver and an output by a tetral counter is inputted to a signal presence identification detection circuit 12 and a signal absence identification detection circuit 13. The signal presence identification detection circuit 12 and the signal absence identification detection circuit 13 compares and detects the signal from the counter transmission circuit 11 with the identification output signal sent to the interface circuit from the receiver and the signal presence identification detection circuit 12 detects it that the period of the identification output signal from the receiver does not exist. The signal absence identification detection circuit 13 detects it that the identification output signal from the receiver exists even when the signal should not exist and a runaway detection output is sent to the CPU from the OR circuit 14. Thus, malfunction and runaway of the pushbutton signal/multi-frequency signal receiver are completely detected. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
