abstract PURPOSE: To eliminate the ability of an aerosol composition to destroy the ozone layer by using HCFC142b as a propellant for an aerosol compsn. which makes a bubble-breaking sound when sprayed. n CONSTITUTION: An aerosol compsn., which makes an explosion sound due to bubble breaking when sprayed, is prepd. by compounding 2-45wt.% stock solution with a propellant, monochlorodifluoroethane (HCFC142b). The stock solution is composed of 100 pts.wt. aq. solution of pref. 0-60wt.% ethanol and/or isopropanol, 0.1-10 pts.wt. surface active agent, 0.01-10 pts.wt. silicone oil, 0.1-50 pts.wt. powder, and 0.01-50 pts.wt. effective component (e.g., a repellent). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
