titleOfInvention | In situ-curing soft fiber-reinforced prepreg mending material for mending of construction |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the subject mending material easily attachable and fixable to the mending part by laminating fiber-reinforced prepreg sheets composed of reinforcing fibers and a specific thermosetting matrix resin and placing the obtained laminated sheet on a substrate which is flexible in the longitudinal direction of the sheet and rigid in the transversal direction. n CONSTITUTION: A laminated sheet is produced by laminating one or more fiber- reinforced prepreg sheets produced by compounding 100pts. of reinforcing fibers (preferably high-strength and high-modulus carbon fiber) with preferably 100-150pts. of a thermosetting resin curable at 50-150°C (preferably a bisphenol A epoxy resin, etc., containing a curing agent such as diaminodiphenylmethane). The obtained sheet is placed on a substrate which is flexible in the longitudinal direction of the sheet and rigid in the transversal direction to obtain the objective mending material. The material is attachable to the surface of a mending part without forming voids and gives a fiber-reinforced plastic plate having excellent weather resistance, water resistance, heat resistance, etc., by curing with heat. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
