abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a thermal recording material excellent in raw preservability and having rapid heat response and fixable by light after thermal recording by containing an acylamide derivative in a recording layer. n CONSTITUTION: A recording layer containing a diazo compound and a coupling component is provided on a support and contains an acylamide derivative. Either one of said diazo compound and the coupling component is pref. contained in a microcapsule.
