titleOfInvention Fluorinated silica-alumina catalyst
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a catalyst having superior activity and a long service life by fluorinating silica-alumina. n CONSTITUTION: Fluorinated silica-alumina obtd. by fluorinating silica-alumina is used as a catalyst for alkylation, dealkylation and disproportionation reactions. The silica-alumina is fluorinated by a vapor or liq. phase process by contact with a fluorine compd. represented by a general formula CCl n F m (where n is an integer of 0-3, m is an integer of 1-4 and n+m=4), e.g. tetrafluoromethane or chlorofluoromethane. The resulting catalyst has superior catalytic activity and a long service life. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
