titleOfInvention Silver halide color photographic sensitive material
abstract PURPOSE: To enhance the safety of a sensitive material to safelight and the sharpness of a color image and to reduce residual color after processing by using a specified spectral sensitizer and a specified dye. n CONSTITUTION: One or more of the silver halide emulsion layers of a sensitive material are spectrally sensitized with a compd. represented by formula I and one or more kinds of dyes represented by formula II are incorporated into one of the nonphotosensitive or photosensitive layers. In the formula I, Z 1 is O or S, each of R 1 and R 2 is (substd.) alkyl, each of V 1 -V 8 is H, halogen, etc., X is a counter ion and n is a prescribed value. In the formula II, each of X' and X" is H, hydroxyl, etc., each of Y and Y' is H, alkyl, etc., each of Z 2 and Z 2 ' is H, cyano, etc., each of L 1 -L 5 is methine, each of n 1 and n 2 is 0 or 1 and M is a cation. A compd. represented by formula III is preferably incorporated into the emulsion layers are hypersensitizer. In the formula III, D is an arom. residue, each of R 7 -R 10 is H, hydroxyl, etc., and each of Y 1 , Y 2 , Y 3 and Z 4 is -N=, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
