titleOfInvention Preparation composition acting on cardiovascular system and its production
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a preparation composition containing a selenium-containing microorganism, a polyunsaturated fatty acid and, if necessary, an antioxidant, and especially acting on the thromboembolic state of a cardiovascular system. CONSTITUTION: This preparation composition comprises 0.5-50wt.%, especially 15-25wt.%, of a selenium-containing microorganism (e.g. yeast or actinomyces), 99.5-50wt.%, especially 85-75wt.%, of a 18-24C fatty acid having at least two unsaturated bonds or its derivative, such as 5,8,11,14,17-eicosapentaenoic acid, 4,7,10,13,16,19-docosahexaenoic acid, a selectively used carrier or additives generally used in an pharmaceutical industry, and a selectively used antioxidant (e.g. α-tocopherol). The microorganism is suitably a microorganism strain harmless to human bodies and capable of contributing to the consumption of nutrients.
