abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition without detriment to the compression set by mixing an ethylene/propylene copolymer rubber with an organic peroxide, a specified antioxidant and a metal inactivator. n CONSTITUTION: An ethylene/propylene copolymer rubber (e.g. EPDM) is mixed with an organic peroxide (e.g. dicumyl peroxide), N,N-di-β-naphthyl-p- phenylenediamine as an antioxidant, and 3-(N-salicyloyl)amino-1,2,4-triazole or decamethylenedicarboxylic acid disalicyloylhydrazide as a metal inactivator. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
