Apparatus for treating flue gas |
abstract |
PURPOSE: To prevent the formation of scale by installing a device whereby a reducing agent is made to be withdrawn from an injection tube during the downtime of the apparatus and refilled into a nozzle of the injection tube at the start of operation. n CONSTITUTION: Aqueous ammonia is stored in an aqueous ammonia tank 8 and sent to an aqueous ammonia injector 10 by a pump 9. It is injected inside a flue gas duct 31 of a Diesel engine 1, mixed with the flue gas generated by the Diesel engine 1 and reacts with nitrogen oxide in the flue gas, which is denitrated in a denitration reactor 2 downstream. The denitrated flue gas has its heat recovered by a heat exchanger 3, its noise being removed by a silencer 4 and is exhausted to the atmosphere. The concentration of nitrogen oxide in the flue gas at an outlet duct 32 of the denitration reactor 2 is detected by a concentration analyzer 6, a necessary flow rate of aqueous ammonia is calculated by an aqueous ammonia flow rate calculator 7 and the flow rate of aqueous ammonia is controlled. By this method, an ambient air pollution is avoided. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
