titleOfInvention Manufacture of metal fine particles
abstract PURPOSE: To efficiently manufacture metal fine particles having high quality with little projection energy by irradiating a part in a series of organic metallic compound generating gaseous exothermic decomposition reaction having more than the specific concn. with laser light. n CONSTITUTION: The organic metallic compound of tetramethyl lead, etc., generating the gaseous exothermic decomposition reaction having ≥10 15 molecules/ml concn. is used as the raw material. A part in the series of this compound is irradiated with the laser beam of infrared or visible ray region having ≥10 -4 joule/cm 2 irradiation intensity. Activated seeds having high concn. is generated in a part of the series with this laser beam irradiation. The metal fine particles of lead, etc., is generated with chain decomposition reaction from this activated seeds. The laser beam is desirable to use carbondioxide gas laser or YAG laser. The metallic fine particles obtd. with this method, can be suitably used to electron material, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
