titleOfInvention | Water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the title adhesive improved in curved surface adhesiveness and low-temperature adhesiveness to a molding of a nonpolar polymer by mixing an acrylic copolymer with a specified ethylene/vinyl acetate/acrylic copolymer as effective components. n CONSTITUTION: An aqueous dispersion (A) containing 100 pts.wt. (30-70wt.% in terms of a solids content) acrylic copolymer having a gel fraction ≥40wt.% and a glass transition point ≤-40°C and comprising 50-99.9wt.% acrylic ester (a) of the formula (wherein R 1 is a 2-12C linear or branched alkyl) and having a glass transition point of its homopolymer ≤120°C, 0.1-1.5wt.% 3-5 C α,β-unsaturated mono- or di-carboxylic acid (b) and 0-50wt.% comonomers (c) copolymerizable therewith is mixed with an aqueous dispersion (B) containing 0.1-5 pts.wt. (30-70wt.% in terms of a solids content) ethylene/vinyl acetate/ acrylic copolymer of a glass transition point ≤-30°C and comprising 5-40wt.% ethylene, 5-60wt.% vinyl acetate and 15-70wt.% 4-18C alkyl (meth)acrylate. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
