titleOfInvention | Separation and concentration of apolipoprotein |
abstract | PURPOSE: To rapidly and efficiently separate the title substance from blood by mixing a lipoprotein-containing aq. soln., e.g. blood, with an aq. dispersion of perfluorocarbon particles containing a phospholipid emulsifier. n CONSTITUTION: At first, an aq. soln. containing lipoprotein is mixed with an aq. perfluorocarbon(PFC) particle emulsion containing a phospholipid emulsifier to bond a protein portion of lipoprotein to phospholipid on the surfaces of PFC particles. Subsequently, the PFC containing protein is separated from the above mentioned aq. soln. and objective protein is separated from PFC, for example, by the washing with sodium dodecylsulfonate. As PFC, perfluoro deriv. of a 9-12C polycyclic compd. such as bicyclononane is pref. As phospholipid, lecithin is pref. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO |
