abstract | PURPOSE: To prevent articles of clothing from vermiculation and give no unpleasant feeling because of non-odor when wore after keeping by putting inexpensive and odorless boric acid or borax near articles of clothing. n CONSTITUTION: Boric acid or borax is put near articles of clothing comprising various fibers consisting of silk, cotton, linen, wool, etc., i.e., in a clothing box, chest of drawers, wardrobe, etc., for keeping the articles of clothing to prevent the articles of clothing from vermiculation. Since boric acid and borax are powder, the powder may be directly used or the powder may be used in a state packed in an air permeable cloth, nonwoven fabric or paper or these compounds may be prepared in a form of tablet, pill or granule using a binder, paste, etc. The articles of clothing wore after keeping are free from odor and unpleasant feeling. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
