titleOfInvention High-refractive index optical material
abstract PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of uncomfortable smells at the time of cutting and polishing by compounding the perfumes selected from the group consisting of ether compds. and acetal compds. at a specific ratio with a high- refractive index resin. n CONSTITUTION: The perfumes selected from the group consisting of the ether compds. and acetal compds. are compounded with the high-refractive index resin having ≥1.50 refractive index and crosslinked structure at 0.01 to 3.0wt.% ratio of the high-refractive index resin. The more specific examples of the perfumes include the ether compds., such as diphenyl ether an rose furan and the acetal compds., such as citral dimethyl acetal and phenyl acetoaldehyde dimethyl acetal. The uncomfortable smells at the time of polishing are decreased down to a negligible level. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
