titleOfInvention | Chlorotetrafluoropropane-based azeotropic and pseudoazeotropic composition |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition, consisting of R244ca, R225cb and 2-chloro-2-methylpropane, having excellent characteristics equal to or better than those of conventional fluorocarbons and useful as a substitute fluorocarbon, solvent, etc. n CONSTITUTION: A composition obtained by blending (A) 7-55wt.%, preferably 17-47wt.% 1-chloro-2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropane (R244ca) with (B) 8-56wt.%, preferably 27-52wt.% 1,3-dichloro-1,1,2,2,3-pentafluoropropane (R225cb) and (C) 5-74wt.%, preferably 5-51wt.% 2-chloro-2-methylpropane [the azeotropic composition is especially 22wt.% component (A), 32wt.% component (B) and 46wt.% component (C)]. The azeotropic point is present in the above-mentioned composition with hardly any fluctuation of composition in recycling and the same usage as that of a conventional single fluorocarbon is possible. The composition has higher solvency than that of the conventional R113 if especially used as a solvent. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
