titleOfInvention Formation of transfer image
abstract PURPOSE: To attain a high density transfer image free from ground stain and to repeatedly obtain transfer images of the same density with high reproducibility by permitting a photopolymerization initiator used for a photopolymerizable component containing layer to contain at least one specific compound. n CONSTITUTION: The photopolymerizable component containing layer contains the photopolymerization initiator shown by expression I, a photopolymerizable or photo-crosslinkable compd. having unsaturated bond, a binder, and a sensitizer, if necessary. In the expression, R 1 and R 2 represent hydrogen atom, alkyl group, alkoxyl group, dialkylamino group, or halogen atom, and may be the same or different. Through the use of the photopolymerization initiator, an electric resistance in an exposed area is great, and retains sufficiently high initial electric charges, whose attenuation rate is low. On the other hand, electric charges in an unexposed area speedily attenuate substantially to zero. Consequently, a high density transfer image free from ground stain can be obtained, and moreover transfer images of the same density can be repeatedly attained with high reproducibility, and can be used as color proof. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
