abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title compsn. with excellent film forming property by casting, storage stability and flow properties by incorporating a specified curable polyphenylene oxide resin and a triallyl (iso)cyanulate at a specified ratio. n CONSTITUTION: 98-40wt.% curable polyphenylene oxide resin substantially constituted of a structure of formula I [wherein m is 1 or 2; J' is a polyphenylene oxide chain contg. a unit of formula II (wherein R 1-4 are each H, allyl or propargyl and at least one of them is a group except H); when m is 1, Q' is H; when m is 2, Q' is a residue Q of a dihydric phenol compd. having two phenolic hydroxyl groups in the molecule and polymn.-inactive substituents on o- and p-positions of the phenolic hydroxyl groups and/or an allyl- and/or a propargyl-substd.
