titleOfInvention | Device for treating sewage or the like |
abstract | PURPOSE: To extremely efficiently and continuously separate away the harmful hardly biodecomposable materials represented by fine suspended solids and sludge in sewage and the volatile dissolved materials contained therein by providing an ejector mecha nism having a cylindrical body provided internally with a throttle and a gas conduit connected to the downstream position of the throttle. n CONSTITUTION: The pumped up raw water is subjected to removal of solid matter by a filter 8. A raw water introducing system 6 is provided with the gas mixing mecha nism having the throttle 11b. A pressure difference is generated before and behind the throttle 11b as the raw water passes the throttle 11b of the decreased passage area and, therefore, the air in the atm. is sucked into the cylindrical body 11a from the gas introducing pipe 11 opened to a low pressure side and is mixed and dispersed in the raw water. This gas-liquid mixture is introduced from an introducing port 60 into an annular chamber 3, then a guide 17 is provided in this area and, therefore, the air is vigorously mixed with the raw water to form the fine bubbles. Even the extremely hardly settling colloidal materials, such as protein and starch, are, therefore, captured by the bubbles regardless of whether these materials are hydrophobic or hydrophilic. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
