titleOfInvention Liquid detergent composition containing disulfonated fluorescent whitening agent
abstract PURPOSE: To provide an excellent whitening effect and detergent stability without producing white dots by blending a specific disulfonic acid whitening agent in a liquid detergent. n CONSTITUTION: In a liquid detergent, a fluorescent whitening agent is made to exist in an amount of 0.01-2%. The fluorescent whitening agent is a disulfonic acid whitening agent of formula I (each of R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 is H, a halogen, and/or C 1-4 alkyl, or R 1 and R 2 , and R 3 and R 4 together form cyclohexane groups; n is 1, 2; M↑O+ is a salt forming cation) or a disulfonic acid whitening agent mixture (e.g. compounds of formulae I, III, etc., their mixture, etc.). While conventional fluorescent whitening agents may produce white dots if fiber fabrics make direct contact with the liquid detergent, e.g. during preprocessing, the blending of the whitening agent results in the prevention of white dot generation, and an excellent whitening effect and detergent stability can also be obtained. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO
