titleOfInvention 1-chloro-2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropane based azeotropic and pseudo-azeotropic composition
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a fluorinated hydrocarbon based azeotropic mixture consisting of R244ca, R113 and cyclopentane, useful as a cleaning solvent and usable as a substitute for chlorofluorocarbon(CFC). n CONSTITUTION: The mixture obtained by blending (A) 1-chloro-2,2,3,3- tetrafluoropropane (R244ca), (B) 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane (R113) and (C) cyclopentane at the ratio of azeotropic composition of 5-45wt.% component A, 9-74wt.% component B and 12-46wt.% component C, preferably 22-32wt.% component A, 46-56wt.% component B and 18-28wt.% component C, especially 27wt.% component A, 50wt.% component B and 23wt.% component C. The above-mentioned mixture can reduce an amount of conventional fluorocarbons used while satisfying excellent characteristics which the above-mentioned fluorocarbons have and simultaneously can be used in the same manner as that of the conventional single fluorocarbon without change of composition during recycle by the presence of azeotropic point and makes drastic modification of existing technique unnecessary. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
