titleOfInvention 1,3-dichloro-1,1,2,2,3-pentafluoropropane azeotropic and pseudo-azeotropic composition
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain an azeotropic or pseudo-azeotropic composition which is composed of 3 kinds of specific fluorinated hydrocarbons including the title compound, and can be used as a chlorofluorocarbon(CFC) substitute for a variety of applications such as heat medium or foaming agent as well as a solvent of excellent properties. n CONSTITUTION: The subject azeotropic composition contains, as essential components, (A) 6 to 37wt.%, preferably 21 to 31wt.%, particularly 26wt.% of 1,3-dichloro-1,1,2,2,3-pentafluoropropane and (B) 22 to 52wt.%, preferably 23 to 52wt.%, particularly 35wt.% of 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane and (C) 27 to 51wt.%. preferably 22 to 52wt.%, particularly 39wt.% of 1,2- dichloro-1,1-difluoroethane. The resultant composition is incombustible and can be reduced its volume to be used, as meeting the properties which the conventional CFC has ever had. Moreover, the composition has an azeotropic point and can be used in the same manner as a single CFC solvent has been used without composition fluctuation during recycled use. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
