abstract PURPOSE: To improve the identifiability by recording on a fabric by an ink jet system with an ink compsn. contg. a specific triazylaminostilbene deriv., water and a diol. n CONSTITUTION: 0.1-20wt.% anionic triazylaminostilbene deriv. of formula I, water as the major solvent, 1-90wt.%, pref. 5-40wt.%, diol of formula II [wherein R is -(CH 2 ) n -, and n is 3-5] (e.g. ethylene glycol or 1,3-propanediol), a polymer binder and ink property controlling agents such as a surfactant, a pH controlling agent, a sequestering agent and an antiseptic agent are mixed and filtered under a vacuum to give an ink compsn. having an excellent discharge stability, resistance to nozzle clogging and storage stability as well as a stable electrostatically charging and deflection characteristics and useful for an ink jet system. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
