titleOfInvention | Toner for developing electrostatic charge image |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the toner which yields bright color images and has a long life and high environmental stability by using the specific metal salt of indole carboxylic acid and the metal salt of quinoline carboxylic acid as a charge control agent. n CONSTITUTION: At least one kind selected respectively from the metal salt of the indole carboxylic acid and the metal salt of quinoline carboxylic acid respectively expressed by the formulas I, II are used together with binder and coloring resins as the charge control agent which is the essential component of the toner. The white or pale color charge control agent which applies stable triboelectrostatic chargeability is obtd. in this way. The bright color images are formed in this way without deteriorating the image quality and without generating the contamination of the photosensitive body by toner filming even in long-term use, such as in continuous copying. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
