abstract | PURPOSE: To decrease the unrest of a patient in a gantry with a simple constitution by composing the wall surface of the gantry of the mirror material of a non-magnetic substance. n CONSTITUTION: The whole wall surface of a gantry 13 is composed of the mirror material of the non-magnetic substance. Thus, the patient can be made to feel a gantry space wide, and simultaneously, an external light is made easy to intrude into the deep part of the gantry 13. Further, a moving base may be composed of the mirror material of the non-magnetic substance.
