abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a medicine for preventing, treating and alleviating bone disease, comprising inositol triphosphate. n CONSTITUTION: This medicine is obtained by including at least one kind of isomer of inositol triphosphate (IP 3 ), preparing the isomer or mixing the isomer with a conventional additive, a vehicle, a carrier, etc., and preparing the mixture. The medicine can be prepared in the form of tablets, granules, capsules, etc., and a daily dose thereof is 0.1-1000mg IP 3 /kg weight. The medicine comprises IP 3 in an amount of 0.01-1.5g per unit dose. The medicine is useful for bone diseases such as minerallization of bone, osteoporosis, Paget disease or periostitis.
