titleOfInvention Hard capsule filled with sodium picosulfate solution
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a hard capsule filled with a sodium picosulfate solution useful as a medicine having laxative action by filling a solution containing the sodium picosulfate as an active ingredient. n CONSTITUTION: The objective substance obtained by dissolving sodium picosulfate in Macrogol(R) solvent or a mixture thereof so as to provide 0.1-20.0wt./wt.% concentration thereof, adding triacetin to the resultant solution so as to afford 70-30wt./wt.% concentration thereof and further adding a buffering agent (e.g. NaOH), regulating the pH to 4-10 and filling the prepared solution in a hard capsule. The Macrogol(R) solvent is used by suitably mixing respective solvents selected from Macrogol(R) 200, 300, 400, 600, 1000, 1500 and 1540 and regulating the molecular weight thereof. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
