titleOfInvention | Hair dye |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a hair dye, consisting of the first agent containing a specific hair dye precursor and the second agent containing an oxidizing agent consisting of an iodate and periodate and capable of dyeing hair without damaging hair and providing a tint excellent in color fastness through treatment in a short time. n CONSTITUTION: A hair dye consisting of the first agent containing 0.1-20wt.%, preferably 0.5-5wt.% one or two or more dye precursors consisting of p- phenylenediamine, toluene-2,5-diamine and salts thereof, catechol and pyrogallol and the second agent containing 0.1-20wt.%, preferably 0.5-10wt.% one or two of more oxidizing agents consisting of an iodate and a periodate (preferably K or Na salt). The above-mentioned hair dye has smaller deendence of dyeability on pH than that of a system using hydrogen peroxide and can be used over a wide range of pH. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
