titleOfInvention Cellular substance having communicating micropore and production thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the subject cellular substance, having characteristics of gypsum and excellent in mechanical strength by mixing an acrylic vinyl mono mer with a soluble resin, insoluble resin and water containing a surfactant and curing the obtained mixture at ordinary temperature. n CONSTITUTION: The objective substance, obtained by mixing (A) 15-50pts.wt. acrylic vinyl monomer prepared by mixing (i) 100pts.wt. vinyl monomer, such as methacrylic acid ester, with (ii) preferably 15-35pts.wt. styrene, etc., with (B) 10-50pts.wt. methyl methacrylate resin, etc., soluble in the component (A), (C) 5-40pts.wt. resin, such as nylon, insoluble in the component (A) and (D) 10-40pts.wt. water containing a surfactant, such as fatty acid soap, and curing the resultant mixture in the presence of (E) a redox polymerization catalyst at ordinary temperature and having ≤10μm pore diameter and 20-50vol.% porosity. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
