titleOfInvention Wet heat-sensitive composition and indicator composition for high pressure steam sterilization containing this composition
abstract PURPOSE: To remarkably change the color when temperature, humidity or elapsed time reaches a prescribed value and improve the storage stability, uniformity of color change, clearness and odorlessness by mixing a specified metal complex with an exchange ligand. n CONSTITUTION: This wet heat sensitive composition is produced by mixing (A) a metal complex selected from bis(dimethylglyoximato)nickel, bis(2- furyldioximato)nickel, zirconium chloranilate and bis(dioximato)nickel to (B) an exchange ligand selected from amino polycarboxylic acid containing 1-6 COOH groups and 1-4 NH 2 groups, succinic acid, tartaric acid, or salts thereof. This composition is mixed with a binder, a solvent, and as occasion demands, a discoloring speed regulator to provide an indicator composition for high pressure steam sterilization. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO
