titleOfInvention Polyester composition
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a polyester composition giving a transparent molded article having small void and excellent slip properties and wear resistance by containing inert inorganic particles having fused silicone fine particles on the surface. n CONSTITUTION: Silicone fine particles are fused on the surface of inert inorganic particles having 0.05-5μm average particle diameter. A ratio of average particle diameter of the silicone fine particles to average particle diameter of the inorganic particles is ≤1/5. Then, resultant particles are mixed into polyester. Average particle diameter of the silicone fine particles is 0.005-1μm and fused amount is 0.005-10wt.% to the inert inorganic particles. Besides, inert inorganic particles are selected from carbonate, sulfate, silica and titanium dioxide. A polyester composed of, e.g., alkylene terephthalate or alkylene naphthalate as a main constituent is preferable. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
