abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a polyolefin requiring no deashing and having little fine powder by using a catalyst consisting of a solid catalyst obtained by reacting Ti halide with a reaction product among an organic diacid compound, hydropolysilane and an organic Mg compound and an organic Al compound. n CONSTITUTION: One or more organic diacid compounds and an ester compound therof are added into a reaction product of a hydropolysilane and an organic magnesium compound, the resulting reaction product is directly reacted with a titanium halide compound to generate a solid catalyst, or the reaction product is pretreated with a mixture of one or more alcohols and an organic aluminum compound and then reacted with the titanium halide compound to generate the solid catalyst, and this is brought into contact with a catalyst component containing an organic aluminum compound, whereby a catalyst system improved in activity and effect is prepared.
