titleOfInvention Catalyst for olefin polymerization
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title highly active catalyst useful for obtaining an olefin polymer of high stereoregularity which need not be deashed by mixing a specified solid catalyst component, an epoxy-p-menthane compound and an organoaluminum compound. n CONSTITUTION: This catalyst is prepared from a solid catalyst component (i) obtained by reacting a product obtained by copulverizing a substance obtained by reacting a metallic magnesium powder with at least two mol, per mol of the powder, of an alkyl monohalide (e.g. n-butyl chloride) in the presence of a dialkoxymagnesium (e.g. diethoxymagnesium) with a phthalic diester (e.g. dibutyl phthalate) and TiCl 4 with TiCl 4 in the presence of a normally liquid aromatic (halo)hydrocarbon (e.g. toluene), an epoxy-p-menthane compound (ii) (e.g. 1,8-epoxy-p-menthane) and an organoaluminum compound (iii) (e.g. triethylaluminum). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
