titleOfInvention Epoxy polymer alloy and production thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the subject alloy exhibiting excellent heat-resistance and mechanical properties and having excellent impact resistance by compounding a polyfunctional epoxide component, an amine-base hardener component and a polycarbonate component at specific ratios. n CONSTITUTION: The objective alloy is produced by compounding (A) a polyfunctional epoxide and/or (B) an amine-base hardener with (C) a polycarbonate at a weight ratio [(A+B)/C] of 100/(1-30) in a state to dissolve the compounded component C into the component A and/or the component B and/or disperse the component C in the form of fine polymer particles. Said alloy is characterized in that a part or total of the carbonyl stretching vibration in the infrared absorption spectrum of the alloy is shifted toward the low wavenumber side by ≥30cm -1 compared with the carbonyl stretching vibration of the infrared absorption spectrum of the charged polycarbonate component. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
