titleOfInvention | Production of benzene derivative |
abstract | PURPOSE: To readily obtain a compound useful as synthetic intermediate of anti-arhythmia agent with short process in high yield using reagent of low cost and without malodor by reacting amine and halocarboxylic acid, etc., and acting halogenation agent. n CONSTITUTION: Amine expressed by formula I (R 1 is H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, halogen, halo-lower alkyl or nitro; R 2 is lower alkyl or lower alkoxy) is reacted with halocarboxylic acids expressed by the formula X 1 CH 2 COX 2 (X 1 is halogen; X 2 is OH or halogen) in ordinary amide bonding-generation reaction to obtain a compound expressed by formula II. Then, the compound is reacted with halogenation agent in a solvent such as methylene chloride at a temperature from -80 to 100°C for 0.5-3 hour to afford the aimed compound expressed by formula III. In the reaction, amount of the halocarboxylic acids is 1-1.5mol times to amine and amount of the halogenation agent is 1-10mol times to the compound expressed by formula II. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
