titleOfInvention | Antipruritic drug for external use |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain an antipruritic drug for external use, containing a buffer solution having skin pH regulating ability as an active ingredient and remarkably effective especially against chronic skin pruritus. n CONSTITUTION: The objective substance, obtained by containing 10-98wt.% buffer solution having skin pH regulating ability, further blending an oily substance, surfactant, water-soluble high polymer, physiologically active substance, etc., therewith and preparing a pharmaceutical. The agent can be prepared in the form of solution, cream, gel, etc. Lactic acid-sodium lactate buffer solution is preferably exemplified as the buffer solution having the skin pH regulating ability and the pH thereof is 3-6. The antipruritic drug for external use produces high antipruritic effects by returning the skin pH value of affected parts to that of the normal part. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
