titleOfInvention | Antistatic polyester resin composition |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition having improved balance of antistatic properties, mechanical properties such as bending characteristics and heat resistance by blending a thermoplastic polyester resin with specific amounts of acrylic rubber, carbon black and fibrous filler. n CONSTITUTION: (A) A thermoplastic polyester resin (preferably PETF or PBTF) is blended with (B) 5-15wt.% acrylic rubber such as rubber-like polymer obtained by grafting methyl methacrylate onto a polymer of an acrylic acid ester and butylene diacrylate, (C) 3-10wt.%, preferably 5-8wt.% carbon black, (D) 2-10wt.%, preferably 3-7wt.% fibrous filler (preferably carbon fiber or glass fiber) in amounts to give ≤15wt.% total amounts of the components C and D and preferably further phenolic antioxidant, end carboxyl group sealing agent, etc., to give a composition. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
