titleOfInvention Lower limbs mascle training device
abstract PURPOSE: To apply strong turning power to the tip of a foot and to improve a training effect by executing reciprocating motion in an angular range, which is set in advance, for the central shaft of a turning arm. n CONSTITUTION: A frame side board 2 fixed in a case is a turning shaft and linked to an intermittent reciprocating motion mechanism which is internally mounted in a machine frame. 3 is a extendable and contractable turning arm and 3a is a base arm. Then, 3b is an extending and contracting arm and 3c is an extension and contraction adjusting device. A pedal 4 provided in the tip part of the extending and contracting arm is abutted to the surface of a foot tip. A pedal position adjusting device 5 and a finger or lever 6 to be inserted pivotally fit a toe pressing roller 7 in a tip and are energized by a spring 6a. A foot rest 9 is molded by an elastic body such as urethane sponge, etc., and supported by a supporting mechanism. Then, the upper heel part of the foot is supported. Thus, the back of the foot is always abutted to the pedal of the turning arm, which is a turning means, and the toe pressing roller is provided on the surface of the toe. Then, the play of the toe can be eliminated. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
