titleOfInvention Production of thermosetting resin
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a thermosetting resin excellent in heat resistance and mechanical properties and having rapid curability and excellent moldability by reacting a specified polycyclo imino ether with a bismaleimide and a polyamine by heating in the presence of an acid catalyst. n CONSTITUTION: A polycyclo imino ether of formula I is reacted with a bismaleimide and a polyamine compound by heating in the presence of an acid catalyst to obtain the purpose resin. In formula I, n is 2-4; R is an n-valent hydrocarbon group which may be interrupted by an atom other than a carbon atom or by a group containing an atom other than a carbon atom; Z is a direct bond or a group of formula II; and Ra, Rb, Rc, Rd, Re and Rf may be the same or different and are each H, methyl, ethyl, propyl, phenyl, tolyl or benzyl, provided that R may be a direct bond when n is 2. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
