abstract | PURPOSE:To provide the subject cosmetic containing a pigment-adsorbed polymer ultraviolet-absorbing agent prepared by polymerization of aminobenzoic acid(derivative) on a pigment and excellent in safety, stability and make-up effect while maintaining sun-screening effect. CONSTITUTION:A polymer ultraviolet-absorbing agent containing a polymer of formulae I-IV [R1 is H, OCH3, formula V or formula VII N(CH3)2; R2 is H, formula VI or N(CH3)2; R3 is formula VI, CH3 or N(CH3)2; k, l, m and o are 15-7000] derived from a sort of ultraviolet-absorbing agent, i.e., p- or m-aminobenzoic acid or a derivative thereof as the constituent compound and adsorbed on a pigment is blended in the objective cosmetic. The ratio of the (co)polymer to the pigment is (1:9)-(9:1), preferably (3:7)-(1:1) and the amount of the cosmetic blended is 0.001-50wt.%, preferably 1-30wt.%. |
