abstract PURPOSE: To provide the subject novel antinock agent consisting of a specified lead (thio)carbamate compound and capable of preventing lowering of the octane number or improving the octane number in blending gasoline with a two-cycle oil. n CONSTITUTION: The objective antinock agent is consisting of a lead (thio) carbamate compound (especially preferably lead diamyldithiocarbamate) represented by the formula [R 1 -R 4 are H, 1-10C, preferably 3-6C alkyl; A 1 and A 2 are O or S].
