titleOfInvention | Method for assay of anionic sulfated polyoside and box for executing the assay method |
abstract | PURPOSE: To enable the easy assaying of sulfated polyoside contained in plasma at a low cost by bringing a liquid sample into contact with a part of a polycation-coated surface and determining the vacant cationic sites on the surface with an anionic tracer complex. n CONSTITUTION: A liquid sample containing an anionic sulfated polyoside (e.g. glucosaminoglucan, especially heparin) is brought into contact with a part of the surface coated with polycation, and subsequently the vacant cationic sites on the surface are quantitatively determined with an anionic tracer complex. The anionic tracer complex is selected so that it has an electric charge density capable of being fixed on vacant sites on the polycation covering the surface without substituting polyosides to be assayed which are fixed in advance. The amount of the material to be assayed is determined based on a standard curve simultaneously produced on the same plate. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO |
