NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I [R 1 is H, acyl or carbamoyl; R 2 is H, lower alkyl or formula II or III (R 3 and R 4 are H, lower alkoxy, halogen, lower alkyl, CF 3 or OH; m is 1-4); n is 0-4] and acid addition salt thereof. n EXAMPLE: N-[1-(3-Phenylpropyl)-4-piperidyl]-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)propionamide hydrochloride. n USE: A preventive and treating agent for central nervous regressive diseases. n PREPARATION: A compound expressed by formula IV (l is 0-2) or acid addition salt thereof is hydrogenated in the presence of Pd/C, Pd(OH) 2 , Pt 2 O, etc., as a catalyst in a solvent, such as water, methanol, THF or acetic acid, under ordinary or medium pressure while being cooled with ice or a temperature up to 50°C to afford the compound expressed by formula I, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
