titleOfInvention | Medical instrument and material made of vinyl chloride |
abstract | PURPOSE: To allow molding of the vinyl chloride resin to the medical instruments and materials having no possibility of plasticizer elution by incorporating vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride, and other monomer components into the component compsn. constituting the vinyl chloride resin and consisting the compsn. of a copolymer resin which cannot be fractionated by the solubility of the above-mentioned resin. n CONSTITUTION: Polymerization is executed by first charging the total weight of (A) the vinyl chloride and a part of (B) the vinylidene chloride among the monomer components, (A) 30 to 80 pts.wt. vinyl chloride, (B) 15 to 65 pts.wt. vinylidene chloride, and (C) 5 to 55 pts.wt., in total, the other monomer components and total 100 pts.wt., then continuously adding the balance of (B) the vinylidene chloride and the whole of (C) other monomers so as to meet the progression of the polymn. at the time of subjecting (A) the vinyl chloride, (B) the vinylidene chloride, and (C) one or ≥2 kinds of the monomers copolymerizable with the vinyl chloride and the vinylidene chloride to emulsion copolymn. The rate of the continuous addition thereof is determined to meet the polymn. rate so as to attain the copolymer resin compsn. having substantially no compsn. distribution with which the resulted resin cannot be fractionated by a solubility discrimination method, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
