titleOfInvention External preparation for skin
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain an external preparation for skin enhanced in stability of vitamin A acid and remarkably improved in effect and expression of the preparation by adding an ultraviolet absorbing agent to vitamin A acid useful as a remedy for hyperkeratosis. CONSTITUTION:(A) Vitamin A acid having action capable of suppressing loss of collagen fiber and abnormal excess production of elastic fiber and repairing sunlight damage of corium binding tissue and recovering or preventing aging change of skin by sunlight by locally applying to surface of skin and expressed by the formula and (B) ultraviolet absorbing agent generally used to external preparation for skin are added to the external preparation as essential ingredients at ratios of the ingredient A of >=0.0001wt.%, preferably 0.001-0.1wt.% and ingredient B of 0.05-10wt.%, preferably 0.5-8wt.% based on the total amount of the preparation to provide the external preparation for skin capable of preventing deterioration of vitamin A acid by sunlight, etc., and exhibiting truly excellent effect of vitamin A acid.
