titleOfInvention | Method and device to separate blood plasma from blood erythrocyte |
abstract | PURPOSE: To separate blood plasma from blood erythrocyte in whole blood, by bringing a whole blood sample into contact with at least a part of a support body with a polycationic surface which combines blood erythrocyte contained in the whole blood sample but not blood plasma. n CONSTITUTION: This method include to combine blood erythrocyte to a polycationic surface of a support body. Polycation polymer is preferably penetrated into at least a part of the support body. At least a part of a water absorptive support body with a polycationic surface is brought into contact with the whole blood sample. The erythrocyte contained in the sample is combined with the polycationic surface, but not with the blood plasma, and usually is separated from the support body part combined with the blood erythrocyte. The blood plasma can be separated from the support body by a number of common separation techniques. For instance, the support body can be separated from blood plasma and it can be done by only passing the blood plasma through a part contact with the support body. The blood plasma can be analyzed on existence of an analyzed object by a number of arbitrary common testing methods. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO |
