titleOfInvention Picture forming photographic system
abstract PURPOSE: To double the speed of a picture forming system in the system for forming a picture pattern in dependence on the curing of an org. component contg. an ethylenic unsaturated double bond by using an initiator system obtained by combining both the electron receptor activator and electron donor activator with a pigment photosensitizer. n CONSTITUTION: A picture forming system contg. an ethylenic unsaturated site includes an ethylene addition initiator consisting of an electron receptor activator, an electron donor activator and a pigment capable of functioning as a photosensitizer. The photosensitizer is excited by the capture of a photon from an active radiation and then allowed to react with the electron receptor activator to form a free radical. The cationic radical of the photosensitizer as an unused reaction product reacts with the electron donor activator to form a second free radical. Accordingly, two reactive free radicals are formed from the single captured photon. Consequently, the speed of the photographic system is doubled. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO
