NEW MATERIAL:A sulfonanilide derivative of formula I [R 1 is phenyl which may be substituted, pyridylthio which may be substituted, long chain alkoxy; R 2 is nitro, lower acyl; R 3 is H, lower alkyl; R 4 is lower alkyl, lower haloalkyl], and its salt useful as medicine. n EXAMPLE: 4-Acetyl-2-phenylmethanesulfonanilid. n USE: A medicine having anti-inflammatory and analgesic actions. n PREPARATION: The reaction of a compound of formula II with another compound of formula III in a solvent such as dichloromethane gives the sulfonanilide derivative of formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
