titleOfInvention | Treatment of waste water containing phosphorus |
abstract | PURPOSE: To efficiently remove phosphorus compds. in waste water and to prevent a reduction in flux at the time of filtration with a membrane by filtering the waste water with a polyvinylidene fluoride resin membrane. n CONSTITUTION: When waste water contg. phosphorus compds. such as night soil or waste water discharged by processing marine products is completely purified, a phosphorus compd. fixing agent 3 such as ferrous sulfate or iron chloride is fed to the raw water 1 under acidic conditions to make the phosphorus compds. insoluble. The raw water 1 is then sent to a concentrating vessel 13 and further sent to a separating apparatus 15 provided with a polyvinylidene fluoride resin membrane. In the apparatus 15, suspended solids (SS) having a division mol.wt. or above in the raw water are filtered off and the raw water becomes treated water 22. The COD and BOD of the raw water are reduced, SS, phosphoric acid, etc., are removed at a high rate and the flow rate of the raw water passing through the membrane lowers hardly. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
